From there, you can type in your zip code and it will list who your state senator and representative are.
Where can I go to view a current or past bill?
-The Alabama Legislative Information System Online (ALISON) is a great source to review past and present bills as well as follow the progress of a bill. If you know the specific bill number or sponsor, go to http://alisondb.legislature.state.al.us/acas/ACASLoginie.asp then click on the "Bills" tab and then select which information you are able to provide. After providing that information, click the bill number and then view at the top of your screen. -If you need assistance with locating a particular bill, please call or visit our office.
IS there a way to listen live to the Alabama House and Senate while they are in session?
-Yes, you can listen to either chamber in session on the ALISON website listed above if the page is supported by your web browser. Select the "Legislative Audio" tab and select which chamber you would like to listen to. You can also watch the Senate chamber live by selecting the "Legislative Video" tab and select "Senate Chamber."
